Get the VIP PassSew a jersey knit top with me, and along the way I'll show you how to get the most out of your fabric, and some techniques I use for zero waste patterns. Suitable for intermediate sewers, this top is sewn entirely on a regular machine. It's also possible to sew it by hand. The pattern fits bust measurements 34"/86.5cm - 70"/178cm.
Materials

Fabric. This pattern is designed for high stretch, drapey knits such as viscose, bamboo or silk knits. Maybe you already have something in your stash.

How much fabric?
(Choose a size according to your bust measurement in inches, eg 40"/101.5cm bust = size 40)
Sizes 34 & 36: 64cm x 148cm wide knit (25.25" x 58.25" wide knit)
Sizes 38-40-42: 120cm-122cm-125cm (47.25"-48"-49.25")
Sizes 44-46-48: 132cm-135cm-137cm (52"-53.25"-54")
Sizes 50-52-54: 140cm-142cm-144cm (55"-56"-56.75")
Sizes 56-58-60: 148cm-150cm-153cm (58.25"-59"-60.25")
Sizes 62-64-66: 155cm-158cm-160cm (61"-62.25"-63")
Sizes 68-70: 162cm-165cm (63.75"-65")
Note these are exact measurements; allow a little extra to straighten the edge of the fabric. -
Sewing thread.

Stretch needle for your machine.

2 x 1cm (3/8") wide, 10cm (4") long strips of lightweight fusible interfacing.

A label, if you like to put one in garments you sew.

Pattern: download the pattern with this workshop, on A4, US Letter or A1 size paper. As always, print at 100% or actual size, and check the test square.
