You will learn to experiment with placements of embroidery, or other embellishments of your choice, to easily find ways to cover up stains or holes, even when they appear in places we might not want to draw attention to.

You get to use a range of floral illustrations to cut and move around with various prompts to help you think differently about your design, and you will learn how you can document and transfer your ideas to your clothes as well as some tips on how to apply designs to elastic garments.

Materials

• Minimum: Print outs, copies or drawings of the motifs you want to use. Floral illustrations you can print are included.

• Paper scissors.

  Also useful:

• Scotch tape and/or pins

• Glue stick (or just tape)

• An item of clothing with a hole or stain, (or just something you want to decorate)

• Pen and paper to take notes (or do it digitally)

• Camera (phone camera will do)

  Also helpful, but not a must:

• Mirror

• Large sheet of paper (news paper for example)

• Coloring pencils /markers/paint

• Measuring tape, ruler or similar
